About Dr. Collins
Tim Collins, DC, is an experienced and passionate chiropractor serving patients of all ages in Wilmington, California. As a member of the integrated medical team at Harbor Comprehensive Health, Dr. Collins, DC, brings more than 30 years of experience and extensive education in conservative health care modalities to care for children, adults, and the elderly in his local community. Dr. Collins, DC, specializes in chiropractic care, functional medicine, weight loss, and physiotherapy to deliver results that relieve pain, improve physical function, and help patients look and feel their best.
Dr. Collins, DC, earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Morehouse College in Atlanta. He then relocated to Pasadena, California, where he studied at Pasadena College of Chiropractic, to earn his doctorate of chiropractic in 1984. Dr. Collins, DC, then formed Collins Chiropractic Group, providing private practice chiropractic services to patients in the greater Los Angeles area.
In 2011, Dr. Collins, DC, joined Harbor Comprehensive Health to provide a wider array of conservative and medical services to patients. Dr. Collins, DC, has completed advanced studies in functional medicine through The Institute for Functional Medicine and incorporates functional medicine and nutrition into his work with patients. He’s also certified in disability evaluation and has been a qualified medical examiner for the state of California since 1992. Through this work, Dr. Collins, DC, specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal orthopedics, neurological injuries, and other chronic pain conditions.
Dr. Collins, DC, is a member of the California Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association. He regularly lectures throughout the United States about functional medicine for diabetes and health care cost containment using chiropractic care.
